What best practices have you found for designing interfaces that handle complex, high-stakes event-like flows (e.g., multiple users, scheduling, confirmations)?

How do you ensure timely updates and ensure reliability when plans change—like rescheduling or cancellations?

Which API integrations (e.g., push notifications, calendar sync, payment) are most critical, and what patterns or workflows have proven robust?

Any insights into user experience design or backend architecture for apps with similar operational complexity would be incredibly helpful.
