How can you start your Mac in Macbook Recovery Mode?

Booting into Macbook Recovery Mode depends on whether you have an Intel or Apple-silicon Mac. On Apple silicon devices, you press and hold the power button until startup options appear. On Intel models, you hold Command + R when restarting. Once in Macbook Recovery Mode, you gain access to Time Machine restore, Disk Utility, macOS reinstallation, and other tools. This recovery environment gives you the control needed to fix boot failures or reinstall the system safely.
