I Thought This Was a Relaxing Game

Some games announce themselves loudly. They tell you they’re difficult. They warn you they’ll test your skills. Others don’t warn you at all. They look friendly, almost harmless, and then slowly pull you into a state of focus you didn’t plan for.

That was my experience with Eggy Car.

This is not a technical review or a score-based evaluation. It’s a personal blog entry—the kind you write when a small game leaves a surprisingly big impression. It’s about laughter, frustration, quiet concentration, and that strange feeling when a game seems simple but refuses to be easy.

I Wasn’t Looking for a “Real” Game

That day, I didn’t want anything intense.

No long tutorials. No progression systems. No story I had to remember. I just wanted something light to pass the time between tasks. Something I could drop without guilt.

When I saw this game, it looked perfect for that mindset. A tiny car, a fragile egg balanced on top, and a road full of gentle-looking hills. I understood the goal instantly, which made me assume I’d also be done with it just as quickly.

I pressed play with zero expectations.
