Learning How to Do Bow Pose correctly is important to gain maximum benefits and avoid strain. Bow Pose, also known as Dhanurasana, is a classic yoga posture that strengthens the back and opens the front of the body. To begin, lie flat on your stomach on a yoga mat with your arms resting by your sides. Bend your knees and bring your heels toward your hips. Reach your hands back and gently hold your ankles. As you inhale, lift your chest and thighs off the floor by pressing your feet into your hands. Keep your gaze forward and breathe deeply while holding the pose for 15 to 30 seconds. Exhale slowly and release. Practicing regularly helps improve posture, flexibility, and energy levels.
