Discovered an original Sony A7 that costs 300 USD is it a trap to a beginner?

I am a student who wants to enter into a full-frame with a small budget. I discovered a Sony A7 (the 2013 one) in an excellent condition. I understand that it is old, but in the case of stills only, will it be fine in 2026? I do not care about video and mad AF. I visited the archive of forum getassist and people appear divided on whether the battery life is a nightmare to own at the present or not.
